PATIENT'S CO-PAYMENTS FOR OUT-PATIENT TREATMENT AND DAY TIME STATIONARY

For out-patient visit to family doctor in medical institution the adults have to pay LVL 0,50

For out-patient visit to physician-specialist in out-patient medical institution:

- the adults have to pay LVL 2,00;

- if you receive old-age pension and amount of it is less than 60 LVL per month and you have reference from State Social Insurance Agency (issued per each calendar year) - you have to pay LVL 1,00.

Home visits of family doctor:

-         children up to 18 – free of charge;

-         invalids of the first group and patients older than 80 – LVL 2,00

-         for the rest – this service is for charge

For treatment in day time stationary (for every day) – LVL 0,50  and extra payment for provided examinations in accordance with the price list showed below.

EXAMINATIONS

Patient's co-payments for diagnostical examinations in out-patient institutions and day-time stationaries

For operations performed in out-patient and day-time stationaries (for every operation) LVL 3,00.

Patient co-payments  are not to be paid for laboratory examinations paid by the state.

Both family doctor and physician-specialist can appoint  a patient for diagnostical examinations and out-patient operations at any institution, where this service is paid by the state.

PATIENT'S CO-PAYMENTS IN HOSPITAL

For treatment in hospital for every day as of the second day has to be paid:

-    regional multiprofile hospitals* - LVL 5,00

-    specialised centres and specialised hospitals – LVL 4,00

-    local multiprofile hospitals – LVL 3,00

-    other hospitals and health centres – LVL 1,50

-    for treatment in oncology, oncohaematology – LVL 1,00

-    for treatment of patients from dependence on alcohol, narcotic or psychotropic substances  within the framework of prevention program – LVL 1,00;

-    for medical rehabilitation – LVL 1,00

* Division of hospitals can be cleared up by family doctor, in medical institutions or phoning to gratuitous informative phone No 8001234

Total sum of instalment paid by patient for every case of treatment doesn’t exceed the volume of LVL 80,00
